About the Project

Welcome to More Than Snapshots!  We are glad you stopped by and hope you stick around and follow us to keep tabs on what we are capturing in our photos every week.  Our idea in starting this was to motivate ourselves to learn more about photography and how to take good pictures by sharing techniques and ideas with each other, as well as all of you!  Several of the group are professional photographers and wanted to also have a project that pushed them to do something just for themselves.  So the idea of a weekly photo assignment came to be, around a different theme each week.  We each have our own interpretations, styles and skills, but enjoy learning and growing through this process. We look forward to sharing our perspectives each week and can't wait to see what develops :)
